Peace Ambassador Angelika Jarosławska Sapieha adressed a question about Ukraine to the heads of European Countries – Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Slovenia and the American Secretary for Energy Rick Perry.Three Seas Initiative President’s Debate – Angelika Jarosławska Sapieha asks a question why Ukraine cannot be an observer on the Three Seas Initiative Summit.Invited by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Princess Angelika Jarosławska-Sapieha was honored to participate in this year’s Three Seas Summit.The fourth Three Seas Summit took place in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. In addition to many distinguished guests, Prime Ministers, Ministers and Ambassadors, the attendance was also honored by the heads of the Three Seas Initiative: Mr Borut Pahor, President of Slovenia, Mr Rumen Radev President of Bulgaria, Mrs Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic President of Croatia, Mr Milos Zeman President of the Czech Republic, Ms. Kersti Kaljulaid President of Estonia , Mr Andrzej Duda, President of Poland. The representative of Hungary was Mr. Peter Szijjarto Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The United States was represent by Mr Rick Perry, United States Secretary of Energy and Mr. General James L. Jones, United States National Security Advisor.During the presidential debate, Princess Angelika Jarosławska Sapieha asked the heads of countries if they think isn’t it high time to invite Ukraine to the Three Seas Initiative .The intervention met with great approval. After the debate, Mr. Ambassador of Ukraine, Mykhailo F. Brodovych, congratulated Princess Angelika Jarosławska Sapieha and thanked her for her interest and commitment to Ukraine. Similar words of appreciation and support She heard from Mr. Ian Brzezinski from the Atlantic Council, and from the former US Ambassador, Mr. Daniel Fried, who asked the program coordinator to provide additional information about the situation in Ukraine.On the second day of the Summit, Princess Angelika Jarosławska Sapieha and the National Cluster of Innovative Enterprises team were invited by Atlantic Council to substantive roundtable discussion on topics: How can the development of digitalization become a new driving force for the development of Central and Eastern European countries? What cross-border or regional approaches might be put place in the framework of the Three Seas Initiative to ensure that digital, like robust energy security and efficient transport links contributes to the development of the region?
